Your Seguin Cougar Cheerleading Squad for the ’17-’18 school year started out strong, winning the cheerleading competition at the Arlington 4th of July Parade during the city’s Independence Day celebrations. The team, lead by captains Tristin Martinez and Sophia Munoz, and co-captain Destiny Delaney, and comprised of incoming freshman through seniors, were judged on performance, motions, spirit, crowd appeal, and their decorated vehicle (which accompanied the team). The team was lead by head coach, Sade Gomez, and assistant coach, Jennifer McCoy.

The Arlington ISD youtube page has the full parade on their website. You can see your Seguin Cheerleaders, Starline, Color Guard, and Marching Band starting around the 1:02.00 here: https://youtu.be/cSQaEJa6yP0
